Affordable Housing Week 2009 was May 9th to May 16th, with seven events in eight days. Throughout the week, the Housing Leadership Council and and our member organizations worked to educate the public about solutions that can create more affordable homes throughout San Mateo County. The week provided the opportunity to highlight successes, understand challenges, and spread the word about how more homes will make San Mateo County a stronger community.

Across San Mateo County and the entire Bay Area, many organizations and individuals are working to create more affordable homes. Affordable Housing Week highlighted the variety of organizations working to create more affordable homes and build stronger, healthier communities.
