Housing Endowment And Regional Trust--The HEART of San Mateo County

Description:
The Housing Endowment And Regional Trust (HEART) of San Mateo County raises funds, especially permanently dedicated sources of funds, to develop affordable housing. The goal is to generate $10 million a year eventually. HEART has been set up as a Joint Powers Authority between the County of San Mateo and cities wishing to join. The fund's governing board consist of 11 public officials and 10 private-sector representatives.
